Chicken & Waffle Sliders

Author: A Food, Folks and Fun Original!

Recipe type: Appetizer

Ingredients: frozen mini waffles, toasted chicken tenders, cooked {real} maple syrup toothpicks

1. Slice your cooked chicken fingers into 34 pieces each. Break your toasted mini waffles apart.

2. Sandwich 1 piece of chicken between 2 mini waffles. Secure with a toothpick. Drizzle with maple syrup and serve warm.

Cook up as many waffles and chicken fingers as needed. As a rule of thumb, 1 chicken finger will get you about 34 sliders.

1 (12-ounce) package bacon, cooked and finely chopped
8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (about 2 cups)

Garnish with extra shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onions. Serve with your favorite potato chips or pretzel crisps.
